The core is known as the powerhouse because that is where all movement stems from. In Yogalates we work through Pilates exercises designed to strengthen the core, intertwined with flows to break it up and increase flexibility. Ending with relaxation. Suitable for beginners and those with injuries (providing Drs have given consent )

Ashtanga Yoga

Thursday 7-8pm

The Ashtanga Primary Series follows the same sequence and series of poses in a precise order, and can be physically demanding! It is a great class for weight loss and gaining flexibility and strength. Due to the set sequence, it can be easier to tune into the breath to experience a moving mediation. It’s also is a great way to gauge your personal progress. There are tonnes of ways to adjust and extend each pose too. It requires a general level of fitness without injuries.
